- DELIVERY
- You cannot request a delivery date. Despatch will normally take place within 1-2 days of payment being received (or if payment is made by cheque, within 1-2 days of the cheque clearing - which is usually 5 working days). Confirmation of receipt of order will be sent via email, as will notification of despatch. On all orders a signature will be required on delivery (where a recorded service is used) and therefore an alternative delivery address may be given when placing your order, if this is more convenient. UK orders will usually be sent by second class recorded packet. Delivery can take 3-4 days. International orders will be sent by the International Signed For service. Royal Mail's delivery aim for Europe is 3 working days, and for outside of Europe 5-6 working days, but these times are not guaranteed.
- Where items require a signature, UK orders will not be left unless there is someone available to sign for them. If a signature cannot be obtained, Royal Mail will leave a card with instructions for you to either collect the item, or to arrange re-delivery. NOTE: THE ITEM WILL BE HELD AT THE LOCAL SORTING OFFICE FOR ONE WEEK ONLY, after which time it will be returned to us. Procedure for International Orders will depend on the local postal service. Should an item be returned to us, in order for us to re-deliver the item to you, we will first require that you pay the cost of re-delivery.
- Please don't ask us to "leave next door", or "use the back door", as we are unable to pass these instructions to Royal Mail!
PAYMENT
- Payment is by debit or credit card, or by personal cheque or postal order (UK only and crossed, please)
Credit or debit card payments will be taken via Nochex secure servers - please see the information on secure payments. (You can also pay from your Nochex account if you have one).
If you select cheque payment, and then decide you'd like the goods sooner, you can still pay through Nochex by going to this webpage https://www.nochex.com/quicksend/ and making a payment to payment@makeupmadness.co.uk. If you do so, please make a reference to your order in the message box, eg your name, or your order number.- POSTAGE COSTS
- Uk customers - There are no postage charges if your order total exceeds £7.50.
- Orders up to the value of £3 will be charged £1.50
- Orders between £3.01 - £5.00 will be charged £2.00
- Orders between £5.01 - £7.50 will be charged £2.50
- Where possible, postage will be by second class Recorded Delivery. Should the weight of the order exceed 1kg (2nd class limit) then the standard parcel service will be used.
- On overseas orders there will be a postage charge of £7.00. This is for the International Signed For service.
- Please note that the maximum weight that Royal Mail will deliver overseas is 2kg. If your total order should be more than 2kg please contact us for a delivery price.
All postage costs will be displayed at checkout before your order is confirmed, and a shipping estimator will be available.
